Street-DNA is a nonprofit organization (501c3) founded in 2025 by Danny Brown, a nationally recognized leader in player development with more than 100+ student-athletes placed into college programs — including Division I and Ivy League institutions.
Danny’s experience as a championship-winning coach and his passion for empowering young athletes fuel Street-DNA’s daily mission.
His track record includes:
- 2018 NJ.com New Jersey Coach of the Year
- 2018 USA TODAY New Jersey Coach of the Year
- 3x State Group Champion (2018, 2019, 2020)
- 7x Bergen County Champion (2016-2023)

Our Mission
We created Street-DNA to support underserved middle and high school student-athletes by providing access to resources, exposure, mentorship, and financial support. Our mission is simple: to empower every athlete with the tools and guidance to turn their passion into opportunity, whether that is earning a college scholarship, pursuing a professional career, or growing into a confident leader both on and off the courts fields of competitive sports.

OUR GOAL – To impact the lives of over 1,000 student-athletes by 2027, helping them chase their dreams, change the trajectory of their lives, and build a legacy for generations to come.

The Gym Ratz Street Ballers teams are both individually and corporately sponsored teams created to help student-athletes maximize their athletic and academic potential and gain exposure to college and university program coaches and recruiters.

How Sponsorships Help
The true cost of participation in the Street-DNA program is $9,500 per player for each season, which includes 6 months of participation and play. Through Street-DNA sponsorships, we can offer this opportunity for just $500 per player — keeping it accessible for families while providing gear, tournament entries, coaching, lodging (for exposure tournaments, camps, events, college visits), and more.
At SportifyU, we specialize in helping student-athletes connect with college programs that match their skills, academics, and career goals.
Every Street-DNA athlete receives:
- Complimentary digital player-profile, including setup, training, site maintenance and program upgrades.
- Personalized guidance throughout the recruiting process, from managing various offers, grants, and scholarships to full commitment and signing day.
- Exposure to college coaches and recruiters nationwide, including daily updated contact information.
- Athletic Achievement Wallet™ to track progress, interests, and offer direct communications with college coaches to determine roster spots for college programs.
- Complete overview and updates to all of the NCAA recruiting rules and regulations.
- Media Package, including game film, photo action shots, highlight videos, and feature articles, and personal player interviews for publication.
The actual cost of participation in the SportifyU Recruiting Platform is approximately $4,000 per year, per athlete.
Through Street-DNA sponsorships, we can offer this opportunity for just $400 per player — which includes immediate access to the student-athlete’s training, playing, education and employment records. Each student-athlete tied to a Street-DNA Athletic Achievement Wallet™ has instant accessibility to their lifetime career paths. This enables them to promote their skills, portfolio of athletic participation, and work experience, finding various career pathways to suitable player roles and employment opportunities. The Athletic Achievement Wallet™ empowers athletes, job seekers, coaches, and employers alike. The wallet is data-rich and verifiable, providing a more holistic and trustworthy overview of an athlete or potential employee. This allows them to be matched to coaches, programs, and employers looking to fill their needs with more skilled and experienced players and employees.
